Kids Bike Chain Guard – Anti Chain Drop Design

Description

I designed this chain guard for my child’s bike because the original guard allowed the chain to slip between the chainring and the plastic cover, where it frequently became stuck.

This redesigned version was specifically created so the chain can no longer get trapped between the chainring and the guard. If the chain drops, it is guided back onto the chainring instead of jamming.

The guard mounts directly to a 5-arm crankset with a 105 mm bolt circle diameter (BCD).
