Description
I wanted a more artistic filament stacker and came up with this design. It's fully optimized to use as little filament as possible. Each piece has a custom seam drawn on the rear to keep the front perfect and smooth. In total, the stack takes about 1.4 kg of filament. I used PETG Basic and it feels very sturdy with no flex.
The entire model is 3D printed, with no hardware required and no support needed. The main body section prints vertical to get the best detail. I added a brim to this part just for insurance to prevent wobbling.
The bottom shelf piece has an “F” for front to help you organize the parts for assembly. There are 2 different size inserts to connect the parts. The alignment inserts that fit inside the AMS 2 Pro are all the same. Once the AMS 2 Pro units are fit into place, the whole model is very sturdy and shouldn't require any additional stabilizers.
