Description
This holder was designed specifically for the Primus salt and pepper mills and is especially useful in campers, caravans, vans, or outdoor kitchen setups.
In my case, the holder is used inside a Herocamper, but it can be used anywhere with a suitable hook or hanging point. The mills sit securely in the holder but can still be removed individually. Alternatively, the complete holder, including both mills, can be taken off and placed directly on the table.
The model consists of two parts:
The rear hook is printed separately and then glued into the matching recess on the back of the holder using super glue. This makes the model easier and cleaner to print.
The design is functional, stable, and made for mobile use.
I printed the model on a Bambu Lab X2D using PETG-CF.
For the support interface, I used PLA. This makes the supports much easier to remove and results in cleaner contact surfaces. It might be possible to print without supports, but I opted for supports for the cleaner result.
The model can also be printed on a single-nozzle printer. When using PLA as support interface material, manual filament changes can be used.
Material:
PETG-CF, PETG, ASA, or another temperature-resistant material
After printing, apply super-glue to the recess on the back of the holder and insert the rear hook. Press firmly and hope you didn't cover your fingers in super-glue as well. 😄
