Yamaha Aerox Throttle Tube / Grip Core
A high-quality, precise replacement internal throttle tube (grip core) designed specifically for Yamaha Aerox and other compatible scooters using the same handlebar controls.
As you can see in the attached photos, the original factory part easily cracks and breaks around the gear/spline section under tension. Instead of buying an expensive OEM replacement assembly, you can easily 3D print this exact model to get your scooter back on the road!
Print Recommendations
- Material: I successfully printed this model using PETG for its excellent durability and slight flexibility under mechanical stress. However, you can also use other tough materials like ASA, ABS, or Nylon for increased weather and heat resistance.
- Supports: Crucial! Please make sure to enable supports to support the overhanging gear/spline section at the top of the tube.
- Orientation: Vertical (as it stands naturally).
