I present the type 10 UDSK, a model done under request and collaboration with @Foxtrot55 This 1/35 model offers detail, playability, and ease of building for the best tank enthusiastics.
The Design:
This tank was made from cero using Onshape, The tank parts are all based on their real counterparts using web files as blueprints, models, and photos.
The UDSK is a survival kit package for the Type 10 main battle tank. Designed in 2014, it was built for urban environments where tanks are at their weakest. The package comes with the Trophy APS to counter drones, missiles, and rockets that pose a threat. If something goes through this system, the tank has ERA on the sides of the vehicle to increase survivability against thermal threats that bypassed the APS, along with shaped charges and antitank RPG’s. The original 1,200-horsepower engine was replaced with a more powerful 1,500-horsepower engine developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The engine deck was heavily modified for urban combat. It was redesigned to prevent incendiary weapons from getting into the engine. The main gun was replaced with a longer, L/55 to counter armored targets. Finally, the original 12.7mm machine gun was replaced with an LW26 (B) autocannon, which was placed at the back of the turret to help counter infantry, light armored vehicles, and obstacles.
Filament: PLA. Using others may generate issues.
Slicer: I recommend using the default profile.
Print Bed: Wash if necessary, then dry thoroughly for good adhesion. For small parts, apply a glue stick.
Temperature: keep your room above 20°C (68°F) to prevent issues, especially if you use an open frame printer.
Red lines indicate glue
Blue lines are moving parts, no glue.
Thanks for the support, thanks to @Foxtrot55 for help and ideas, and I hope you all enjoy the 50 follower special!
