BobbiNest Flex - Parametric Bobbin Organiser

Keep your sewing machine bobbins tidy, accessible, and colour-sorted with BobbiNest Flex — a fully parametric bobbin tray printed in TPU for a satisfying snap-in fit.

 

The curved walls wrap around each bobbin, letting you snap them in and pop them out with ease while still holding them securely upside down. TPU's flexibility means a snugger fit without sacrificing usability.

 

Whether you use standard domestic bobbins or industrial-style ones, BobbiNest Flex adapts. Adjust the bobbin diameter, bobbin depth, number of slots, wall thickness, and printer tolerance directly in the Bambu Handy app or MakerWorld — no CAD software needed.

 

Parameters:

• Bobbin Diameter — fits any bobbin size
• Bobbin Depth — adjusts slot depth to match your bobbins
• Number of Bobbins — scale the tray to your collection
• Wall Thickness — control structural strength
• Printer Tolerance — dial in the fit for your specific printer

Fit tip: Unlike the rigid PLA version, TPU's flexibility allows for a much tighter fit. I used 0mm tolerance on my P1S — the bobbins snap in and hold securely upside down. If you want an even tighter snap, try going negative (e.g. -0.1mm). If bobbins feel too stiff to remove, increase the tolerance slightly.
