Stack up the fun with this kid-friendly magnetic hamburger! Designed for imaginative kitchen play, this toy comes apart into layers (bun, patty, cheese, tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce) that snap back together with embedded magnets. Kids can build their burger piece by piece, then take it apart and start all over again. It's perfect for pretend cooking, food-themed games, and helping little ones practice stacking and fine motor skills.
The top bun has a lot of color swaps, which takes a long time and produces a lot of waste. If you want to speed it up or save on filament, then paint the seeds to be the same color as the bun, or print the included seedless top bun.
Printing details
You will need 21 10x3mm or 14 15x3mm magnets for this model.
Place the magnets with all the same polarity except for the bottom bun (plate 1) and cheese (plate 4)
IMPORTANT: Not all magnets are created equal! You want magnets strong enough to hold the pieces together securely, but not so powerful that they'll pinch little fingers. Some 15x3 magnets may be too strong, while others work perfectly. There are two print profiles to accommodate different magnet sizes.
The print profile has a pause to insert the magnets.
I highly recommend adding a little bit of glue stick on the top of the magnets to help the next layer adhere.
