Boost MeBoost me for more automatic printing systems for everyone!
Introducing 3D Farmers FarmLoop Stage 1, the first automated detachment system available for the Bambu Lab H Series, compatible with the H2S, H2D, and H2C.
How It Works
- Automated Detachment – A passive bender clips directly into the slots on the H Series build plate (no tools, no screws, no fixed installation) and flexes the plate in a controlled bend motion to break adhesion cleanly after each print.
- Safe Part Removal – A print-head-mounted Pusher with a soft TPU face gently nudges the loosened part off the plate without scratching either the model or the printer. The H Series ships with three Pusher variants, one each for the H2S, H2D, and H2C print head geometries, so the kit fits whichever H you own.
- Engineered for Efficiency – Custom tilted feet lift the rear of the machine so gravity takes over, letting each freed part slide safely out of the printer and into your collection bin, readying the bed for the next loop.
Get the FarmLoop App
These hardware mods only reach their full potential when they're driven by the FarmLoop App, which injects the smart G-code that controls plate-bending, cooldown timing, and pusher sweeps.
Two easy ways to access the app
Standalone Download – Grab the browser-based FarmLoop App directly. A free tier lets you start looping today with core detachment presets and local processing, no installs, no cloud accounts. Free version available! → https://app.3d-farmers.com/
- Through the skool Community – Join our skool community and you'll automatically receive the full FarmLoop Pro version for as long as you're a VIP member. Pro unlocks unlimited loops, advanced tuning, multi-plate queues, plus exclusive CAD courses, business playbooks, and a network of makers to help you scale a profitable 3D-printing farm. → https://www.skool.com/3dfarmers
Stage 1 Limitations
Stage 1 uses passive build-plate bending. It works reliably for most small-to-medium prints, but there are a few constraints to know about:
- Reduced print height: the bender physically occupies space inside the printer, dropping your maximum printable Z height to roughly 275mm. Taller parts won't fit while the kit is installed.
- Limited detachment force: very large or strongly-adhered prints, especially flat-bottomed parts on textured plates, may not release cleanly. Pushing the bender beyond its sweet spot can cause the Z axis to skip under load, which crushes the plate against the bender and risks scratching or destroying it.
- Door stays open: the loop requires an open door, which makes Stage 1 less suitable for materials that need an enclosed, heated chamber (PC, PP, Nylon, ABS, etc.).
For bigger parts, harder-to-release prints, or enclosed-chamber materials, we recommend FarmLoop Stage 2 for the H Series. Stage 2 uses two active actuators that only engage after the print finishes, preserving the full Z height of your printer, applies far more bending force via a rolling wave across the plate, and includes automatic door opening so your chamber can stay heated during the print.
