The Flying Puck is a lightweight aerodynamic throwing disc inspired by high-speed skipping toys — but redesigned from the ground up for durability, easy printing, and long-range flight.

 

This model was inspired by the ZIPCHIP that I saw on social media, but designed by me from scratch, and I´ve went through 3 revisions on design and print profiles to reach a well functioning toy

Unlike fragile flying toys, this design was made to survive real outdoor play:

• Variable infill profile included:
🔥 100% infill center for rotational stability
🌪️ 10% outer ring for lower weight and longer throws

This creates better spin, smoother flight, and more distance without increasing print time.
