A compact and easy to use tool holder for an hobby knife. 

I don't like the user experience of retrieving a tool by first pulling it up and then towards me. Many holders are just a hole that holds the tool. I want to be able to just pull a tool out and start using it, it feels better and that design also requires less accuracy to put back and takes up less space on the Skådis board. 

The recessed slot makes the tool sit secure while also providing the user a physical feedback when putting the tool back.
 

Skådis board lock
Since PLA creep the Skådis hook design alone isn't going to have that snug fit after maybe a year or so. Therefore I also made this lock that blends in with the holder and keeps everything secure to the Skådis board forever. Make sure have it cool down properly before use.

 

Print profiles

The model comes in two design versions - with or without storage for a spare blade box. Simply choose the correct size for your safety cap: 13 mm or 15 mm diameter. Just contact me if your cap has a different size so I can make an updated version. All print profiles have 'Print by Object' making it easier you would like to print the holder and lock in different colors.
