Tired of the same old 3D-printed vases? This Customizable Vase Generator is a fully modernized, high-performance parametric tool that lets you design and print an endless variety of custom vases directly in your browser using the MakerWorld MakerLab Customizer.
Whether you want a wide, bulbous rustic pot, a sleek modern twisted neck vase, or a sharp geometric centerpiece, this model can do it all.
Key Features
Fully Customizer Ready: Change heights, wall thicknesses, belly positions, and rim styles with simple, real-time web sliders.
Modernized Performance: Rewritten from scratch to use high-performance 3D mathematical polyhedrons. It slices flawlessly, renders incredibly fast, and avoids the annoying stair-step artifacts found in older script versions.
Dual Export Modes:
Solid Shell: Automatically creates water-tight inner walls and solid floors so it's ready to print with standard wall loops.
Vase Mode: Generates a completely solid silhouette optimized specifically for your slicer’s Spiral Vase / Spiralize Outer Contour setting.
How to Customize Your Design
General Settings: Choose between a functional shell or vase_mode. Set your render_quality to Low while tweaking settings, then flip it to High right before exporting for a flawlessly smooth finish.
Shape Profile: Use the belly_position and neck_position sliders to move the widest and narrowest parts of the vase up or down.
Wave Texture: Play with waves_count for subtle ridges or sharp fluting. Adjust wave_twist (in degrees) to create beautiful sweeping spiral effects.
Accent Rims: Toggle structural lips and bases on or off to give your print a clean, intentional finish.
