🛡️ Anti-Clog Guard – YUKA Mini Series

A lightweight anti-clog protection accessory designed for the cutting system of the Mammotion YUKA Mini Series.

The Anti-Clog Guard is installed between the rotating cutting disc, the blade, and the mounting screw, covering the exposed gap where grass, dirt, and debris normally accumulate during operation.

🌱 Why was this designed?

During mowing, the cutting disc rotates at very high speed. Over time, grass and debris tend to compact around the blade screw area, especially in wet conditions.

This buildup can:

  • Reduce blade mobility
  • Make cleaning more difficult
  • Increase maintenance time
  • Cause dirt accumulation around the cutting system

The Anti-Clog Guard helps reduce this buildup by covering and protecting the exposed space around the blade mounting system while still maintaining free blade movement.

⚙️ Main Features

Unlike rigid spacers or locking systems, this accessory does NOT lock the blades in place.

The blades remain free-moving, preserving proper cutting behavior and natural movement during operation.

 

✈️ Aerodynamic Design

The design features approximately 45° angled side cuts intended to improve airflow around the rotating assembly.

Since the cutting disc operates at high RPM, completely flat surfaces may create small turbulence and micro vibrations over time.

These angled cuts help slightly improve aerodynamics and contribute to smoother and more balanced operation.

🧩 Available Versions

The model currently includes two different variants designed to fit different screw types commonly used on the YUKA Mini:

🔹 Standard Version

Designed for the original factory screws included with the Mammotion YUKA Mini.

This version has a slightly taller profile to properly match the length of the original screws.

🔹 Low Profile / Slim Version

Designed for shorter aftermarket screws commonly found on Amazon, AliExpress, and similar stores.

This version features a lower and more compact profile.

🛠️ Customization

If needed, you can also easily adjust the diameter or height directly in your slicer by slightly scaling the model to fit your setup.

🧪 Recommended Materials

✅ Recommended:

  • PETG
  • ASA
  • ASA Kevlar (ideal)

⚠️ Not Recommended:

  • PLA (may wear or crack faster over time)

During testing, PETG has shown very good results.

Currently, ASA Kevlar is the preferred material thanks to its excellent:

  • UV resistance
  • Weather resistance
  • Mechanical durability
  • Temperature resistance
  • Outdoor performance

🖨️ Recommended Print Settings

For good durability, the following settings are recommended:

  • Minimum 25% Gyroid infill
  • Multiple wall lines/perimeters
  • Good layer adhesion
  • High-quality filament

🔧 Installation

Installation is quick and simple.

Please refer to the photos for proper assembly orientation.

⚠️ Important:
Be careful while handling mower blades.

The blades are sharp and may cause injury during installation or maintenance.

📌 Notes

This accessory is designed to help reduce grass buildup and improve maintenance convenience around the cutting system.

Results may vary depending on grass type, humidity, mowing conditions, and blade condition.
