Update! Â After a ton of playing with the model, I was able to make a two part wreath. Â The fit between them isn't perfect but due to the feathers, it still looks really nice. Â I recommend dry fitting the two pieces together and then using a hot glue gun to inject the glue between the eagle head and the wreath. Â Keep it flat while the glue dries and it comes out great. Â I know the fit isn't perfect but to there were some challenges with doing this on a single part model. Â And I had to repaint the entire model, so if you see any sections that you think would look better as a different color please set me know. Â Thank you!
Â
A wreath to celebrate the US 250th anniversary! Â I might have to upgrade my H2D to an H2C! Â Printed in 6 colors on H2D and one color on my P1S. Â You can adjust the side to fit the P/A/X series printers. Â Update! Â Works on the a1 mini. Â Made and posted a 4-color version.
Â
NOTE! Â If you print with a 256x256 bed, please use the profile for those printers but follow the directions. Â It is set to print at 245 mm but If you want it to larger, just scale up the Y axis to 255 mm, move the model to the bottom right hand corner, as close to the edge as possible and then move the tower to the top left as far as it will go. Â This will allow you to maximize your bed. I have done this and confirmed the slice will be successful. Â I have tried to upload it this way to Makerworld, and even though it slices successfully, it gets denied because it says the prime tower is too close to the edge. Â I put in a ticket to ask why the model can approach the edge of the bed but not the tower. Â Also if they could add a slicer option for publishing so it follows their separate criteria.
