## Yamaha T-Max 500 (2001-2006) Rear Brake Cooling Duct
 

A custom-designed functional air duct designed to channel fresh airflow directly to the rear brake caliper and disc of the first-generation Yamaha T-Max 500.
 

Perfect for riders who push their maxiscooter hard, ride in mountainous areas, or just want to improve brake cooling efficiency while giving the rear swingarm a more aggressive, racing-inspired look.


 

### ⚠️ CRITICAL MATERIAL NOTE

* **DO NOT USE PLA or PETG!** The rear braking system generates massive amounts of heat. 
* It is **highly recommended** to print this in **ASA**, **ABS**, or even better – **PA-CF (Carbon Fiber Nylon)**. You need a material with high glass transition temperature ($T_g$) and excellent heat resistance to prevent the part from melting or deforming near the brakes.


 

### 🛠️ Print Settings

* **Layer Height:** 0.20mm
* **Wall Loops:** 4 - 6 walls (for maximum durability against rocks and debris)
* **Infill:** 40% - 60% (Gyroid)
* **Supports:** Supports are needed. Keep support interfaces clean for maximum airflow efficiency inside the duct.
