Description

This inlay is for the card game “Arkham Horror LCG”, more specifically fitting the 2026 core box size perfectly. Note that the original as well as the revised core box from 2016 and 2021, respectively, both have different measures from this core box. I don't think I need to elaborate that the insert the game comes with is suboptimal! :p

In order to completely fill one core box with this inlay, you need to print the two main parts and the four connector pins (i. e., the first plate) twice. Print as many separators (second plate) as you wish. The four pins might come out of the printer a little visually imperfect, but that is alright, as they won't be visible anyways; they are simply used to connect the two main parts of the inlay.

This model is designed with using the dividers that come with the game in mind. The separators that are part of this model can be used for additional separation.

The inlay supports sleeved cards. In my case, I use Docsmagic 67 x 92 sleeves (which are already on the very large side of sleeves for this game). Even with the sleeves, a core box with two copies of my inlay inside will offer enough room for all the cards and components of the core game as well as all five evergreen investigator decks. Since my inlay is only marginally shorter in height that the inside of the box is, adding the two booklets of the core box will result in a little bit of lid lift.

I optimized the design and settings with low weight and filament usage in mind. The settings include, for example, a wall thickness of just 1 layer. This could be adjusted to your needs if you want a heavier, tougher version.

Happy gaming, stay sane!
