Battery Buddy With Raven Wings:
Re-use an old AA battery to make a fun action figure that is compatible with all of the Dummy 13 series hand accessories!
Â
This is a cute dummy 13-like figure. It:
✔ Is easy to build
✔ Re-uses an old AA battery to make an articulated figure!
✔ Is extremely flexible
✔ Is great for playing with/using as decoration

PRINTING TIPS. I would recommend:
- Making sure the plate on the printer is clean before use.
- Using a glue stick to glue the area where the parts will be printed for better adhesion.
- Using a smooth printing plate. It is easier to use and makes the Dummy 13 much more smooth and satisfying.
- Using PLA for the frame and armor of the Dummy 13. PETG will just make the joints become loose faster.
To remix this model, I
- changed a connector on the original Battery Buddy by soozafone to have two joints that wings can connect to
- changed the pieces of the Raven Dummy 13 wings so they could attach to the shoulder battery connector with problemsÂ
- changed the settings to make the model print faster, smoother, and in more detail
ASSEMBLY
Â
 To assemble the Battery Buddy:
- Snap the little balls onto the crescent-shaped parts that connect to the battery.
- Connect the long, skinny lower arms/lower legs pieces to the top thicker, shorter pieces.Â
- Attach the little balls to the end of the pieces that were just made.
- Connect the hands and feet to the ends.
- Connect the arms and legs to the crescent-shaped pieces and attach to the AA battery.
- Put the wings together with the W-shaped connectors (they should print out in the right positions).
- Attach the wings to the pieces sticking out of the shoulder battery connector.
RE-SCALING
Â
To fit other cylindrical items, like a glue stick, measure the object's diameter in mm. Then, divide it by 14, and scale all parts by that amount. For example, a glue stick could be 25mm in diameter, so 25/14 = 1.79 = 179%, so scale all the pieces up by 179%. I would round to the hundredths place. Scaling below 100% may be tricky and result in problems with adhesion and quality, but it is possible.
