MorphyBox – A Customizable Storage Box

Introduction

This customizable 3D printable box is designed to give you multiple style options with one simple base model. The box uses separate side panels and a lid cover that can be printed individually and glued onto the main box. This makes it easy to change the look completely by choosing different colors, patterns, or finishes.

Sizes and Shapes

The model comes in 4 different versions:

Rectangular short box ‘'110mmx210mmx40mm’' approximately
A low rectangular version, ideal for smaller items

A taller rectangular version with more storage space 

Square short box ‘'110mmx110mmx40mm’' approximately
A compact square version, perfect for small objects, jewelry, or desk organization.

Square tall box ‘'110mmx110mmx80mm’' approximately
A taller square version for extra capacity.

Each version can be customized using the separate side panels and lid cover, allowing you to mix colors and patterns to create a completely different appearance.

Print Instructions

I recommend Matte PLA and PLA Galaxy

Print profiles available for all versions.

The box, side panels, and lid cover are designed to be printed separately. After printing, simply glue the decorative panels to the main box, and the lid cover/pattern onto the lid.

The patterns are easy to print with the AMS, making multi-color printing simple and clean. For users without an AMS, I added a preprogrammed pause in the print profile so you can manually change filament at the right moment.

Please clean the build plate with isopropyl alcohol or washing before printing to avoid the edges lifting.

For the best result, make sure the panels are aligned correctly before gluing. A small amount of glue is enough to attach the pieces securely. Let everything dry fully before using the box.
