Folding fan with feather textures

My kid wished for a fan, so I definitely had to make one!

I put the slicing skills I picked up from building the macaw model to good use on this design. All the feather textures are generated by slicing software. I highly recommend trying this model — you’ll get a decent-looking folding fan while leveling up your slicing skills.

Folded dimensions:Length: 18 cm, Width: 3 cm, Thickness: 14.4 cm

Open dimensions:Width: 32 cm, Height: 18 cm, Opening angle: approx. 150°

Weight: about 30 g

You can mix and match any colors. The textures reveal the middle layer to create a two-tone effect, with shifting colors visible from different viewing angles.

Tested with Bambu Lab PLA filament; silk filament delivers an even better finish.
