Description
This is an adjustable 3D printable tablet holder designed to fit a wide range of iPads and tablets — even when the device has a protective case or cover installed.
Unlike many tablet mounts that only fit slim, bare devices, this holder has extra clearance and an adjustable clamping design, making it much more flexible for real-world use. It works great for using a tablet on a tripod, for example as a display, camera monitor, golf simulator screen, music sheet holder, streaming setup, workshop display, or general hands-free tablet stand.
The holder uses a standard 1/4" tripod thread on the bottom, so it fits most camera tripods, light stands, ball heads, and other common mounting accessories.
The model is designed to print cleanly on Bambu Lab printers. For best results, use a strong material such as PETG, ABS, ASA, or PA-based filament if the holder will be used often or outdoors. PLA can also work for lighter indoor use.
Make sure the threaded parts are printed accurately. If the threads feel tight at first, carefully work the knob back and forth a few times.
This holder should fit many iPads and tablets, including devices with thicker protective cases. Since case thickness varies a lot, please check the model dimensions before printing if your tablet has a very large rugged case.
No special hardware is required for the printed clamping parts.
A standard tripod or mount with a 1/4" screw is needed to attach the holder.
