A beautiful lithophane lamp designed in the shape of a classic lantern, made to showcase your favorite memories with glowing photo panels. This model uses 4 lithophane pictures to create a stunning illuminated display from every side.
Designed to work with the LED Lamp Kit 001, making it an easy and rewarding project for anyone who enjoys personalized decor and 3D printing. Work great as s present to a close one!
Lithophane Printing
Generate Lithophane here MakeMyLithophane:
- Choose Mono Litho without a frame type;
- Import yourt photo (preferably in vertical orientation);
- Direction: vertical, 3:4;
- Width 80 mm, Min thickness 1mm, Max thickness 3.2mm
- in the Attributes tab select: Margin 3mm and Margin Thickness 3.2mm.
- In the Image tab adust the settings so that image is more contrast, it gives best results.
Export and print the lithophane
Assembly
- Simple assembly is required: Unscrew the LED Lamp Kit, attach it to the Lantern Base using screws or the double sided tape.
- Slide in the lithophanes into the slots.
Close off with the Lantern Top. Your Lithophane Latern is ready, plug it into the electrical source and job's done!
UPDATE: Added pins for connecting TOP and BOTTOM.
