Description

I am coaching little league baseball this summer and found that several of my players are new to baseball and need to learn the positions on the field.  I designed this to help them learn all of the fielding positions and where they are on the field.  As a companion to this, I printed one of the available lineup cards, seen below, that has positions that are interchangeable.  Hopefully, while this team is batting, I can change the positions on the lineup card each inning and they can then look at the lineup card and see the position they were assigned for the next inning.  Then using this print, they can see where they need to go.  As a coach, it gets a little hectic every time they take the field with everyone asking what position they are playing.  Doing this all off the top of my head, in the moment, I eventually forget that I already sent a kid to a position and windup with two kids at one spot.  Now they are standing there looking confused & rightfully so!!!  Hopefully, this helps the new kids learn baseball, cuts down on my mistakes, and makes it more efficient for us to take the field.

You will need a couple Carabiners to attach it to the dugout fence.  You can buy like 6 of these for about $6 on amazon.  If you are like me, you probably have a few in a junk drawer somewhere.  I used 3" carabiners.

I did leave a little extra space at the bottom of this print, not seen in my photos, in case you want to use the text tool and add your team's name.  I didn't put my teams name on mine because team name is on the line up print.  So, when I printed mine, I threw a negative modifier rectangle in the slice and removed the excess at the bottom just to save a bit of filament.  If you do choose to add your teams name, don't forget that this is printed face down and you will need to flip the text over 180 degrees, so it prints “right side up".  (Hope I didn't confuse someone there.)  Just look at it in the slicer from below and you will get it, I'm sure.

The lineup card I printed is attached below. In the slicer, you can click on the text portion of each “Player” and edit their name in using the text tool at the top.  I added my teams name at the top with the Text Tool too.
