Description
This is a dummy WW2 gas mask filter. This is a M10A1 gas mask filter used in World War 2 and on some masks used during the Vietnam war. This filter can fit on the M24 aircraft mask, and it can also fit on the:
M3 Series Lightweight Service Masks (specifically the M3-10A1-6 variant)
The only parts you need are the original valve from the filter and duct tape or flex tape. Yo will also need the 3D printed pares and filter material (Like tissues or activated charcoal, and HEPA filter pads). To take the valve off of the original filter you will need needle-nose plyers, and or a o-ring pick. the first step is to use the pick to pry around the edge of the valve, where the valve connects to the bottom of the filter. Than using the plyers try to genteelly pull the valve out. Then put it on the bottom of the 3D printed filter. Than if needed, put the filter material in the new filter, than tape the 3 halved together with the flex tape or duct tape. After that detach the original filter and than attach the new filter to the bottom of the mask hose where the old filter used to be. (This filter is for cost-play purposes only. this filter cannot protect you from any NBC threats)
