To ensure the magnetic interlocking system functions flawlessly, it is crucial to follow these specific steps during the printing process:
- Recommended Material: PLA is highly recommended to achieve optimal dimensional accuracy and stiffness.
- Print Pause: A print pause must be scheduled at exactly Layer 60.
- Required Hardware: During this pause, you will need to insert 8x3 mm round magnets into the designated slots.
- CRITICAL POLARITY ALIGNMENT: It is absolutely paramount that you do not invert the polarities. Ensure every single magnet is inserted facing exactly the same direction. If you mix up the polarities, the modules will repel each other instead of snapping together! Once all magnets are seated correctly, resume the print to permanently seal them inside.
