Description
🐾 MyPetTag: a QR pet tag that helps bring lost pets home
Print your own tag. If anyone finds your pet they just scan the QR with their phone, no app, and land on a page with the contact details you chose to share. But MyPetTag isn't just a page that shows up. It's a whole little platform around the tag:
🆘 Lost mode : flip the page into a big "Have you seen?" alert, list your pet in the public Lost pets directory, and print a one-page flyer to put up nearby. Finders can even browse lost pets near them.
📍 Location sharing : the finder shares their exact spot in one tap, by SMS or email. See the last place on a map.
💬 Messages and alerts : finders message you straight from the page. You're emailed instantly, even when your tag is just scanned.
🔒 You control privacy : pick exactly what's public (name, phone, email). GDPR-friendly. Take the page offline anytime.
✏️ Edit anytime : change info, photo or contact whenever you want. No re-engraving.
🔔 Care reminders : vaccines, vet visits, grooming, flea treatments, by email. Plus a birthday note.
🌍 12 languages : the page shows in the finder's language. Your alerts and the flyer follow yours.

🖨️ Print tips (important for scanning!)
Two colors: light body + dark QR (never inverted). Filament change at the QR layer, or print the QR part separately.
0.4 mm nozzle: keep the QR ≥ ~28 mm so each module is ~0.6–0.8 mm and scans reliably
Layer height 0.12–0.16 mm, 2 perimeters per module
For better / clean result use 0.08 preset.
Always test-scan the printed tag before attaching it. Reprint if it wears.
PETG recommended for durability
💡 More ideas?
I keep adding features that actually help owners. If something would help you or could save a pet, tell me in the comments and I'll build it. Feedback very welcome. 🙏
⚠️ You print the tag yourself, so quality is on you. A poorly printed or damaged QR may not scan. Test it first.
If this helps you and your pet, a like / boost / comment means a lot. Thanks! ❤️
