Round NFC Tag Snap-Fit Enclosure

A clean, rugged little case for turning basic round NFC tags into something more durable, mountable, and easy to identify.

This is a two-piece snap-fit enclosure designed for small round NFC stickers/tags. The internal cavity is 1.5 mm deep and 25.75 mm in diameter, which should fit most common small round NFC tag designs.

The snap fit is intentionally firm so the enclosure stays closed during normal use, but the mating faces include beveled edges so the two halves can still be separated when you need to access or replace the tag.

It pairs well with 1-inch 3M VHB foam tape rounds for mounting to walls, furniture, equipment, storage bins, or wherever you want a clean NFC trigger point.

Print a few in different colors and you’ve got simple, durable NFC buttons that look a lot better than bare sticker tags.
