Take balloon-powered racing onto the water with the Turbo Twin Balloon Hydro Racer!

This unique hydroplane-inspired design uses a twin-balloon propulsion system to create powerful thrust while the catamaran-style hull provides excellent stability and level flotation. The boat is designed to print easily, assemble quickly, and deliver impressive performance on calm water.

The main hull prints as a single piece, while the propulsion components simply push into place. No glue is required, although it can be used for a permanent assembly if preferred.

The raised propulsion outlets help keep the thrust system above the waterline, while the lightweight hull and twin pontoon design allow the Hydro Racer to glide smoothly across the surface.

Fun Fact: The rear hole was originally intended for a rudder, but the Hydro Racer proved stable enough without one. It now doubles as a handy attachment point for a retrieval line.

Assembly

1. Print all parts.
2. Insert the feed tubes and outlet tubes.
3. Fit the balloon caps.
4. Attach two balloons.
5. Inflate and launch!

 

Print Profiles Included: H2D AMS, P1S AMS, and P1S Single-Colour profiles are included, allowing you to choose between multi-colour printing or a simple single-colour version.

Note: Larger water areas provide the best experience, as the inflated balloons may touch the sides of smaller bathtubs.
