Sheikah Stone Magnetic Game Case for Switch

Store and display your Nintendo Switch game cartridges with this Zelda-inspired game holder, compatible with Nintendo Switch 1 and Nintendo Switch 2 games.

 

Needed Materials 🧲

The model features a magnetic closure system using 8x 6x2 mm magnets, one in each corner of the case.
The magnet slots are internally embedded to maintain a clean exterior appearance.

• 8x 6x2 mm magnets
• Glue of your preference

Printing Recommendations ⚠️
 

• At layer 29, the print includes a pause where the printer will stop, allowing the magnets to be inserted into their slots as shown in the images.

• The tolerances are designed for a press-fit installation, so glue is not required. If you experience difficulty inserting a magnet, you can slightly warm it before pressing it into place.
• Please make sure the magnet polarities are correctly aligned during installation so the magnets attract properly and the case closes correctly.
• For best results, make sure your print bed is clean and properly leveled before printing. This is essential to ensure dimensional accuracy and optimal final appearance.
• If you experience issues printing the handle lines, you can increase your printer’s fan speed. This helps improve overhang quality and produces cleaner details.

Assembly

The assembly of the parts is done as shown in the reference image. The parts located on the “attachable parts” plate must be glued using the adhesive of your preference.

Color Versions 🎨
This model includes two versions:

• A 5-color version for users with full multicolor capability
• A 4-color version for users with only 1 AMS system

If you want to print the 5-color version with only 1 AMS, you can find tutorials online explaining how to achieve this workflow.
