Description
This model is designed to be assembled in seconds, with no special tools required.
3D printed parts
1x 608 Bearing (You can use a classic metal bearing or a 3D printed one easily found on MakerWorld)
Step 1: Place the bearing Take the central base of the spool and insert the 608 bearing (real or printed) into its circular housing.
Step 2: Close the central core Align the upper part of the hub (the one with the slots) over the bearing. Apply light downward pressure until the bearing is fully inserted and the structure locks into place.
Step 3: Add the "Filament" Take the colored mini filament spool and slide it around the bottom of the newly assembled spool. Next, take the white outer cover, align the tabs, and close the spool.
Step 4: Insert the bottom pin Take the first central pad (the knurled finger button with the long pin) and insert it into the center hole of the bearing from the bottom.
Step 5: Secure the top cover Flip the fidget spinner over. Take the second pad (the cap) and snap it onto the protruding pin to close and permanently seal the mechanism.
Step 6: Have fun! Your Mini Filament Spool Fidget Spinner is ready to spin.
The model features a snap-fit design so you can disassemble it and change the inner "filament" color whenever you want. However, if you've chosen your final color and don't plan to change it, I recommend adding a tiny drop of glue (Super Glue) to the pins before closing them: it will make your fidget spinner indestructible!
