*Update*
A new, thicker and stronger frame is now available as a print profile. It includes three different plates with three different hole sizes.
I stress-tested this new frame against the original version, and it is significantly stronger. The original hole size works well for most switches, but some switches may fit a bit tightly. If that's the case, you can now choose one of the larger hole sizes. I hope this updated version works better for those of you who experienced issues with the original frame. 🙂

Â
A dodecahedron-shaped fidget that uses 12 mechanical keyboard switches.
Â
I've tested linear, tactile and clicky switches. They all work well and each has its own feel, but clicky switches are my personal favorite! It's surprisingly satisfying to roll around in your hand while pressing the different faces. The sound and feel remind me a bit of popping bubble wrap!
Â
Everything snaps together with no glue required. The removable panels make it possible to experiment with different switches, colors, and combinations to customize the fidget to your liking.
Â
I chose to split the model into two build plates. The plates are printed at 0.12 mm layer height to achieve smoother edges and a cleaner finish on the rounded surfaces. The frame is printed at 0.20 mm layer height which reduces print time since it doesn't contain the same rounded details.
