The perfect travel companion for your next trip! 🎲✈️ Looking for a fast, engaging, and highly portable game for your next game night or family vacation? CrossOut 12 is a clever, tactical dice game where everything you need packs perfectly into a sleek, pocket-sized box. The compact case neatly holds up to 4 player boards, tracking tokens, and multiple pairs of dice, while the sliding lid keeps everything secure.

The rules are simple to learn, but every roll forces you to make a calculated choice!

Game Objective:

Be the first player to cover (cross out) all numbers from 1 to 12 on your individual player board.

How to Play:

On your turn, roll two standard dice. You must use the numbers rolled to cover open spaces on your board using your colored tokens. You have exactly two options on how to apply your roll:

  1. The Split: Cover the two individual numbers shown on each die (e.g., roll a 3 and a 5 -> cover both the number 3 and the number 5). Crucial: Both numbers must be completely uncovered to choose this option.
  2. The Sum: Add the two dice together and cover a single number representing their total sum (e.g., roll a 3 and a 5 -> cover the number 8).

The Golden Rules & Constraints (Read Carefully!):

To make a move valid, you must be able to fulfill your chosen option completely. If you cannot, your turn is skipped!

  • Scenario A (Using the Sum): Imagine you have already covered numbers 1 and 3. You roll a 3 and a 5. You cannot choose "The Split" because the number 3 is already blocked. However, you can use "The Sum" (3 + 5 = 8). Since 8 is still open, you can successfully cover the number 8.
  • Scenario B (The Skipped Turn): Imagine you have already covered numbers 1 and 3. You roll a 1 and a 2. You cannot split them (since 1 is covered). You also cannot add them together because the sum (1 + 2 = 3) is alsoalready covered. You have no valid moves left—your turn is over and passes to the next player!
