How do I customise?
Open the file in Bambu Studio or any other CAD software that supports text editing. Import the file and add your desired font. Merge the elements together, or use alternative software to combine them into a single file for printing.
Customisation suggestions:
- Consider using bold or clear fonts for better outdoor visibility
- Keep text concise to maintain legibility from a distance
- Test your design with a preview render before printing
- Add the date if its in memory of some one who has passed or just for a way of remembering when it was added
How do I fix it to a tree or other surfaces?
For wood, use a nail and hammer. For other materials, please enquire in the comments.
Installation suggestions:
- Use galvanised or stainless steel nails to resist rust and weathering
- Apply a weatherproof sealant or outdoor varnish to extend the plaque's lifespan
- You do not need to use a nail if you want one with no nail and with a strap etc. I can add more design
Printing recommendations:
- Use weather-resistant filament such as PETG or ASA for outdoor durability (PLA worked just fine for now)
- Use `Cut` in Bambu studios to make the top equally levelled
- Consider printing with a larger nozzle size for faster production of larger plaques (0.4mm worked fine for me but if you need it smaller consider using 0.2mm)
