Clone Commandos are the Republic’s most elite infantry units, engineered from birth for missions too dangerous, too complex, or too politically sensitive for standard clone troopers. Trained within the brutal Special Operations Brigade on Kamino, each commando is raised in a tight-knit four‑man squad, forging bonds so strong that their teamwork borders on instinct. Where regular clones rely on numbers and discipline, commandos rely on precision, adaptability, and overwhelming tactical skill.

Equipped with Katarn‑class commando armor, they enjoy superior protection, integrated sensor suites, and modular attachments that allow them to operate in environments ranging from deep oceans to vacuum. Their signature weapon, the DC‑17m Interchangeable Weapon System, can shift between assault rifle, sniper, and anti‑armor modes—making a single commando squad capable of handling an entire battlefield’s worth of roles.

Unlike standard clones, commandos are encouraged to think creatively, improvise, and even question orders when necessary to complete the mission. Their personalities are more distinct, their independence greater, and their combat instincts sharper. Many Jedi generals treat them less like soldiers and more like fellow officers.

On the battlefield, Clone Commandos move like ghosts—silent, coordinated, and lethal. Entire Separatist outposts have been wiped out without a single alarm raised.
