Description
This one that took a LOT of testing but it was so fun to make! I've been thinking about how to make some fidgets that are more quiet than clickies - my kids love them, but they're not allowed to bring them to school because a bunch of kids with clickies gets understandably frustrating for the teachers. I set out to make one that's still fun to play with but without sound (yes, I know you can buy silent clickies - they just don't like them 😂), and we landed on this one!
This little moth is printed in two halves that are then joined together with the marble in the middle - I do recommend glue for this one. You will need supports for the hole where the marble goes, but they should come off easily and they get covered up by the marble. These fit standard, every day playing marbles. The size has to be just right to make sure that the marble can move around but not fall out, so I would not mess around with the size too much! You can leave it as is to just slip into a pocket, attach a keychain, or thread a cord to make it a necklace - the antennae double as a place to thread through a jump ring or string.
These have been a hit with my tiny testers, so I will probably make a few more if you all like them too - let me know what shapes you'd like to see!
