Dive Mask Strap Buckle

I designed this custom buckle to keep my dive mask strap flat and prevent it from twisting. It was specifically engineered for Decathlon masks (specifically the 500 Dual and 900 Dual), but it should fit any 18mm strap. It features a rounded profile to avoid pressing on your temples.

Printing it in TPU is recommended for flexibility, though rigid materials work fine too. I added a 0.4mm deep text area for easy personalization in the slicer without weakening the walls. The rounded, embossed side with the text is the one that should face toward your head. 🤿

 

Note: Quick-flash the finished print with a lighter flame before you hit the water to burn off any stringing and prevent microplastics from shedding into the sea 🌊
