Drive Blue Streak Wheelchair Seat Rail Cap/Plug

This is a 3D-printable replacement end cap for the front seat rail tube on a Drive Blue Streak manual wheelchair.

On this wheelchair, the front seat rail has a flanged metal tube end. If the original plastic cap is missing, that exposed edge can be sharp and may pose a safety risk to the user, caregiver, or anyone handling the chair. This cap covers the exposed tube end and gives the seat rail a safer, finished appearance.

I modeled this from the original cap on a Drive Blue Streak wheelchair. 

Suggested print settings:

• Material: PETG, TPU, or PLA
• PETG or TPU recommended for better durability
• Print orientation: flat side down
• Infill: 15–25%
• Supports: not needed
• Brim: optional

Install note:
This is designed as a press-fit cap. Depending on your printer tolerances, you may need to lightly sand the insert portion for a snug fit. Make sure the cap is fully seated and secure before returning the wheelchair to use.
