This heavy-duty double curtain rod bracket is engineered for maximum structural strength and features a professional locking mechanism.

Unlike standard vertical brackets that are prone to layer delamination under weight, this model is specifically designed to be printed flat on the build plate. This layer orientation ensures exceptional shear resistance, making it completely safe for heavy or blackout curtains. I have personally stress-tested this design in my own home for months with heavy drapery, and it performs flawlessly.

Premium Feature: Secure Rod Locking The design incorporates two holes on the top rings, precisely dimensioned for M3 heat-set inserts. This allows you to thread an M3 screw to lock the curtain rods firmly in place, preventing any lateral sliding when opening or closing your curtains. (Note: This is highly recommended for a secure fit, but the bracket can still be used without the inserts if you rely on gravity).

Specifications:

  • Front Rod (Main): 28 mm
  • Back Rod (Secondary): 25 mm

Hardware Required (Optional but recommended):

  • 2x M3 Heat-Set Inserts (Short/Standard)
  • 2x M3 Screws (Flat tip recommended to avoid scratching the curtain rods)

Print Settings & Recommendations:

  • Orientation: Print flat on its side (already oriented in the 3MF file).
  • Supports: No supports required.
  • Walls/Perimeters: Use at least 4-6 wall loops for maximum rigidity and to give the heat-set inserts a thick base to melt into.
  • Infill: 40% or higher (Gyroid or Grid recommended).
  • Material: PETG or tough PLA (PLA+).
