Drive Blue Streak Wheelchair Front Caster Cap

This is a 3D-printable replacement cap for the top of the front caster stem housing on a Drive Blue Streak manual wheelchair.

These caps sit above the front caster fork assembly and cover the open top of the caster housing tube. If the original cap is missing, the exposed tube opening can collect dirt/debris and may leave an unfinished or potentially sharp edge exposed. This replacement cap helps cover that opening and gives the wheelchair a cleaner, safer finished look.

I modeled this cap from the original part on a Drive Blue Streak wheelchair. There are two caps per chair, one above each front caster assembly. It may also fit similar Drive manual wheelchairs that use the same front caster housing, but please check your measurements before printing.

Suggested print settings:

• Material: PETG, TPU, or PLA
• PETG or TPU recommended for durability
• Print orientation: flat side down
• Infill: 15–25%
• Supports: enabled, tree slim. Supports only on the outside edge of the cap
• Brim: optional

Install note:
This is designed as a press-fit cap. Depending on your printer tolerances, you may need to lightly sand the insert portion for fitment. Make sure the cap is fully seated and secure before returning the wheelchair to use.
