Description
I've had a SuperMicro X10SRW-F leaning against my dresser for several months now, as filling it with enough RAM to replace my current homelab setup costs 6x what I paid for it at the moment. But that doesn't mean i can't play around with it and prep it to take its throne one day. So last night I got the idea to print some handles for the front of it to make lugging the fully loaded 57 lb (~25ish kg) behemoth around.
There are screw/threaded insert hole sizes included (4 and 5mm), as well as open and closed handles if you need to screw your machine into your rack. For each handle I'm actually using, I've used a pair of M4x10x6 heat set threaded inserts, and a pair of M4x12 screws with 4 M4 washers, because I've run out of M4x8 screws lol.
I have ONLY tested these with my 2U X10SRW-F. They may not work with other 2U chassis from SuperMicro, and I definitely can't confirm compatibility with any other vendor. The holes I measured are roughly 65mm apart, so feel free to chop up what I've provided and make it work for your setup.
