Caravan Curtain Rail Hook Replacement

A replacement curtain hook recreated from an original hook used in a caravan curtain rail system.

The original hook had become brittle and difficult to source, so this model was designed as a direct replacement. The geometry closely matches the original part while being optimized for modern 3D printing.

The model has been successfully printed in PETG and tested as a functional replacement for the original hook.

Recommended Print Settings

For maximum durability:

• Material: PETG recommended
• Layer height: 0.20 mm
• Walls/Perimeters: 5
• Infill: 100%
• Print flat on the build plate

Compatibility

This model was recreated from an original caravan curtain hook. Because rail systems differ between manufacturers, please compare the dimensions with your existing hook before printing.

Notes

PETG is recommended for caravans and motorhomes due to its improved heat resistance compared to PLA.
