This is a 3D printable replacement cap for IBC tanks. It is designed as a practical screw-on lid with an internal thread and a small center hole, making it useful for custom modifications, adapters, venting, or other DIY IBC tank projects.

The model is intended for general workshop, garden, water storage, and DIY use. It can be printed as a replacement or custom base part when the original IBC cap is missing, damaged, or needs to be modified.

Recommended Print Settings

• Material: PETG recommended
• PLA can be used for indoor or light-duty use
• Layer height: 0.20 mm
• Wall loops: 4 or more
• Infill: 20–40%
• Supports: Not required in most cases
• Print orientation: Flat on the build plate, open side facing upward

Material Recommendation

For outdoor or water-related use, PETG is recommended because it has better temperature resistance and durability than PLA.
For higher strength or long-term outdoor use, ASA or another UV-resistant material may also be suitable.
