Solid 1U Blank Plate designed for 10-inch racks.
This is the fully-enclosed sibling of my Smart 1U Air Vent mount. Originally made to fit the Lab Rax series, but works for other similar 10" racks.
Sometimes the smartest airflow strategy is no airflow at all. This version trades the vent holes for a clean, solid face - for those who want that slick fully-enclosed look and zero dust sneaking into their rack:
- Minimal: Just like the vented version, this plate is designed to blend in, not stand out. No oversized or unnecessary mounting holes - just 2 perfect sized M6 holes on each side, and nothing else. The face is completely solid, giving your rack that seamless, professional, fully-closed finish.
- Dust-proof by design: No holes means no entry points. If your gear doesn't need extra airflow, this plate completely rules out dust getting in through the empty units - your hardware stays as clean as the day you racked it.
- No Supports: It's a 100% flat print.
Print Settings:
- Material: PLA, PETG.
- Infill: 15% - 20%.
- Supports: None required.
- Install: Supports any M6 variation.
Installation
- Mount: No orientation to think about this time - it's a solid plate, so just line it up and use the M6 screws to attach it to your 10" rack. Done.
