I designed this cup holder to fit the map pockets of my Audi A3 8P because the stock ones in the center don't allow you to have two bottles, just two cans. This clips onto anything you want and will hold a normal sized bottle as well as a 12oz aluminum can.
Hardware Needed
1x M6x30 Socket Head Bolt (https://www.mcmaster.com/96144A130/ is what I based the model off of if you need to know what kind to buy)
1x M6 Nut (non-locking)
2x #6x1.25" screws (Metric: 3.5x30) wood screws
1x ¼-20x2.5" hex head bolt (Metric: M6x60)
1x ¼-20 Nyloc Nut (M6 Nyloc Nut)
Instructions
- Put the M6 non-locking nut between the two “Clamp Slip Washers” and slip them into the circular section of the clamp.
- Install the clamp onto the main body with a ¼-20x2.5" hex bolt or a M6x60 Hex bolt, washers not needed but can be used.
- Install "Bolt Slip Washer" onto M6x30 bolt
- Thread M6x30 bolt into the 3 piece "Clamp Slip Washer" nut assembly in the clamp.
- Drop the head of the M6x30 bolt with the “Bolt Slip Washer” into the main body.
- Install the “Bolt Encasement” above the M6x30 bolt, onto the main body. Use the #6x1.25" or 3.5x30 screws to fasten it.
- Install the cup holder wherever you want, I had to use a 5mm Allen socket to tighten mine. Counterclockwise to tighten and clockwise to loosen.
