Retractable cheat sheet

A minimalist, highly functional clip designed to hold a highly compressed cheat sheet (max 4 cm height). Perfect for physics, math, or engineering formulas. It connects seamlessly to a standard office badge retractor for quick deployment and instant, spring-loaded concealment. Essential EDC for academic survival.

 

Recomended note dimensions: 9.5x3,8 cm. 

Max 10 laminated sheets. You must save 2 cm fields on right.

 

Assembly Tip & Alternatives: If you don't have a standard retractable badge reel on hand, no problem! You can easily swap it out and assemble the mechanism using a regular rubber band or elastic cord. It works just as well for snapping the cheat sheet back into hiding.

 

I would be absolutely thrilled to see your remixes. There is definitely room for improvement, and I’d love to see what the community can come up with:

• A fully 3D-printed retractor: It would be amazing if someone designed a custom 3D-printable spring/retractor mechanism specifically for this clip, so we don't need to source office supplies at all.
• Better page turning: Currently, if your cheat sheet has a large number of pages, it gets a bit clumsy to flip through them with one hand. If anyone out there have ideas on how to tweak the design to make page-turning smoother and more ergonomic, please go for it! I'd love to see your upgraded versions.
