🧠 Behind the design (For makers & moderators)

To ensure a flawless mesh and perfect printability, this generator processes complex 2D vector fonts and dynamically extrudes them into a 100% manifold solid.

The auto_width feature uses a clever mathematical approximation. It counts the number of characters in both text strings and multiplies them by the font size, spacing, and a standard glyph-width ratio. It then dynamically bounds the card width, adding a mathematically calculated safety padding to ensure the text never clips through the border. The stake itself is generated using a 2D polygon mapped precisely to the center of the rounded sign, completely avoiding any overlapping geometry errors in your slicer.

 

🖨️ Print settings:

• Material: PETG or ASA is highly recommended for outdoor use! PLA is perfectly fine for indoor houseplants, but it will warp under a hot summer sun.
• Layer height: 0.20mm works beautifully.
• Supports: STRICTLY NONE. The model prints completely flat on its back.
• Ironing: Turn on top surface ironing in your slicer. It gives the flat background of the sign an incredibly smooth, injection-molded finish!
