Hexagonal Kumiko - Swirling Arcs (Tri24)

This Swirling Arcs Kumiko is based on our 24-triangle hexagonal frame. Each triangular cell is filled with the same simple motif, which is simply made of three arcs of different sizes.

The motif is partially separate. To make it physically connected, I added a slightly smaller thin triangular base underneath the visible arcs geometry. This hidden support keeps the insert integral without changing the front appearance or disturbing the clean kumiko lines.

The individual motif is minimal, but repeating and organizing it across the full lattice creates a great overall pattern, with soft circular motion and a beautiful swirling rhythm.

This design shows one of the most charming parts of kumiko: a single repeated idea can grow into something much more expressive when it is arranged carefully.
