Planter Saucer with Decorative Irrigation Support

Give your potted plants a cleaner and more organized irrigation setup with this decorative planter saucer and rear support panel.

The model combines a round planter plate with an extended base and an ornamental back panel. The panel helps guide and support a drip-irrigation tube, keeping the hose positioned beside the planter instead of hanging loosely around the pot. Multiple side openings provide convenient routing points, allowing the tube height and position to be adjusted for different planters.

The decorative floral pattern adds a finished look while still keeping the design lightweight and practical. It works well for indoor plants, balconies, patios, screened porches, greenhouses, and small automated watering systems.

Printing Recommendations

Print the planter plate flat on the build plate and the decorative panel vertically, as shown in the slicer preview. A brim may be helpful for the tall panel, particularly on printers with limited bed adhesion.

For outdoor or high-temperature locations, PETG, ASA, or another weather-resistant filament is recommended. PLA can be used indoors or in protected areas away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.

Assembly and Use

Place the planter on the round plate, route the irrigation tube through the desired side opening, and position the emitter over the soil. The available openings make it easy to adjust the hose position as the plant grows or when using a different pot.
