Retis — Decorative Catchall Bowl

Retis is the first object in a series of designs built around the geometry of the Tessara tetrahedral lattice.
 

The model combines a lightweight lattice structure with a smooth removable plate, creating a balance between open geometry and a simple functional form. It can be used as a decorative centerpiece, a catchall for everyday items, or a small organizer.
 

The model consists of two separately printed parts: the lattice base and the removable plate, which press-fits into the structure after printing.
 

The lattice is printed with the slicer's Fuzzy Skin setting enabled, creating a tactile textured surface. If preferred, this option can be disabled to produce a smooth finish while also reducing the lattice's print time.
 

The mounting holes on the underside of the plate are designed to achieve a snug fit when the lattice is printed with Fuzzy Skin enabled. If Fuzzy Skin is disabled, or if your printer produces a looser fit, the plate can simply be secured to the base with a small amount of adhesive.
