Description
Yet another 10 inch blank cover — what's the difference?
First, I needed it 5mm thick, which later became parametric in Fusion, and the file is also attached. The geometry of the cutout gives more wall around the screws, and the whole panel is reinforced so it doesn't feel wobbly.
Included files: the 3MF file. The part has a linked modifier mesh already placed and aligned in the model. To change the infill pattern, select the modifier in the object tree and change its pattern setting — you don't need to touch the base body or re-position anything.
Recommended patterns for the modifier: gyroid or cubic. Both are fully self-connected patterns, so you get uniform strength regardless of print orientation — avoid line/rectilinear here, as it won't self-connect across the modifier boundary cleanly.
Feel free to also play with infill density for unique results.
Fusion and step files are included.
Please note: this can't be printed via Bambu Handy, due to lack of support for per-object settings.
