Universal Parametric Articulated Mount (OpenSCAD Customizer)
A highly adaptable, fully parametric dual-tab hinge bracket designed from scratch in OpenSCAD. Perfect for modular robotics, custom camera mounts (GoPro style), or any articulate mechanical joint.
Key Features:
- Fully Parametric: Easily adjust base dimensions, tab thickness, and gap width using the MakerWorld Customizer online or OpenSCAD locally.
- Smart Hardware Pocket: Features a precise hexagonal pocket on one side to lock a standard metric hex nut in place, preventing it from spinning during assembly.
- Universal Screw Recess: The opposite side features a smooth, clean circular recess, allowing universal screw heads to sit completely flush.
🛠️ Recommended Print Settings / Configurações de Impressão
- Material Compatibility: Tested successfully with both PLA and PETG.
- Material Recommendation: * Use PLA for standard structural use.
- We highly recommend PETG (or superior engineered filaments) for applications requiring higher temperature resistance or enhanced mechanical strength.
- Printer Used for Testing: Ender 3 V3 SE
- Wall Loops / Perimeter: 4 walls (Highly recommended for maximum mechanical strength around the articulation and hinge area)
- Infill: 20% (Gyroid or Grid)
- Print Order: Inner wall / Outer wall
- Speeds Used for Perfect Finish:
- Outer Wall: 60 mm/s
- Inner Wall: 90 mm/s
- Bridge Speed: 30 mm/s (Reduced to 30% for a clean, sag-free overhang inside the bolt and nut countersinks)
- Supports: Not required if oriented flat on the base.
