Description
A compact, print-in-place inspired OTF-style fidget that features a satisfying double-action mechanism. Push the slider forward to extend it and pull it back to retract it for a smooth, repeatable action.
The model assembles from just 4 printed parts and requires no additional hardware. Simply print the parts, assemble them, and you're ready to go.
Assembly
***REFER TO PHOTOS***
Like many 3D-printed mechanisms, this fidget requires a short break-in period. The first few dozen cycles may feel stiff or inconsistent as the printed surfaces wear in. After some use, the action becomes noticeably smoother and more reliable.
If the mechanism feels tight after assembly, continue cycling it by hand until it loosens up naturally.
Happy printing!
